ANPPCAN applauds high court

Kampala, 16thof January 2011.The African Network for the Prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN) applauds the High Court OF Uganda in Kampala for jailing a man a resident of Makyindye Division in Kampala for 25 years for defiling his daughter in 2009. The matter which was before the Court was heard in December 2011 and judgment was subsequently passed on the accused. The victim now lives in an orphanage in Kamuli district, eastern Uganda, having been supported by ANPPCAN, she has already given birth. Read more…
