
As the rest of the nation gathered in Masindi to celebrate the Day of the African Child last week, ANPPCAN Uganda joined over 2,000 people to commemorate the day in the northern district of Kitgum.
The celebrations which were held in Kitgum-Matidi Sub County saw 120 children immunized, essay competitions for primary schools organized as well as a soccer tournament for primary schools. Layamo P/S walked away with a he-goat after winning their rivals, Matidi Primary in the soccer match.
